At FINE ESSENCE, we are committed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, and we want your piece to last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a Limited Lifetime Manufacters Warranty on all of our pieces.

What’s Covered Under Our Lifetime Warranty:
- Craftsmanship issues: In the rare event that a manufacturing defect occurs, such as an unstable setting or flawed metal finish, we’ll repair or replace your piece at no charge. While these issues are uncommon, they would typically be noticed within the first few months of wear.
- Defects: Any issues resulting from craftsmanship will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
What’s Not Covered Under Our Lifetime Warranty:
- Wear and tear: Normal signs of wear such as scratches, minor dents, or oxidisation in the metal are expected and are not covered.
- Damage from improper care: This includes issues such as misshapen settings, metal corrosion, cracked or chipped stones, and discolouration caused by improper care, exposure to chemicals, or neglect.
- Lost stones: Stones that are lost due to damage or neglect (such as not addressing damage promptly) are not covered by the warranty. If within 6 months, any gemstones equivalent to 0.10 carats or less fall out of your jewellery, we may, at our discretion replace and re-set such stones free of charge providing you return the affected Jewellery to us.
- Loss or theft: Unfortunately, if your piece is lost or stolen, it is not covered by the warranty.
- Third-party repairs: If your piece is taken to a jeweller other than FINE ESSENCE for repairs, resizing, or alterations (unless previously discussed and approved by our team), the warranty will be voided.
Warranty Requirements:
- This Limited Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. You must retain your original receipt as proof of purchase.
- Service & Care: We recommend having your FINE ESSENCE piece professionally serviced and cleaned by our team every 18 months to ensure its continued integrity. Neglecting regular professional care may void the warranty.
- Assessment of damage: Any damage claims will be assessed by our expert in-house jewellers, who will determine if the issue stems from a manufacturing fault or wear and tear.
We recommend that you purchase personal insurance for your FINE ESSENCE piece to cover any situations beyond the scope of our warranty, such as theft or accidental damage.
How to Make a Claim:
To make a warranty claim, simply contact us at hello@fineessence.com.au with the following information:
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the piece showing the defect (if applicable)
- Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or other relevant documentation)
Once we receive your claim, our customer service team will review the case and get in touch with you to discuss next steps. We may request that the piece be sent back to us for inspection. If the issue is covered by our warranty, we will repair or replace the item at no additional cost to you.
Repairs and Replacements:
- Repairs: If your jewellery needs to be repaired under the warranty, we will restore it to its original condition as soon as possible. In some cases, repairs may take up to 2-5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the issue.
- Replacements: If the item is beyond repair or if we are unable to restore it to its original condition, we may offer you a replacement piece of equal value or a store credit.
Care Instructions:
To ensure your jewellery continues to shine and last, we highly recommend following our care guidelines:
- Keep jewellery away from harsh chemicals, such as lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products.
- Store jewellery in a cool, dry place, ideally in the original packaging or a soft cloth pouch.
- Avoid exposing jewellery to excessive moisture, heat, or physical impacts.
Exclusions and Limitations:
- This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- The warranty is void if the jewellery has been subjected to alterations, improper care, or misuse.
