A Personal Approach to Diamond Sourcing
We start with a conversation. Shape, carat weight, budget, what the stone is for, and what matters most to you. The more detail, the better. If you're unsure, that's fine too. Guiding you through the options is part of what we do.
From there, we search our trusted network of suppliers and cutters worldwide to find certified loose lab grown diamonds that meet your criteria, and ours. Every stone is assessed beyond the certificate, for the details a grading report doesn't always capture: how the diamond faces up, how the colour reads in natural light, and how it will perform once it's set.
We present a curated shortlist within 24 to 48 hours, complete with HD imagery, grading reports, and our honest assessment of each stone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your loose lab grown diamonds certified?
Yes. Every diamond we source above 0.50ct is independently certified by IGI or GIA. You'll receive the full grading report alongside HD imagery and our personal assessment of the stone before you make a decision.
What's the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to natural diamonds. The difference is origin. Lab grown stones are created in a controlled environment, while natural diamonds are formed over billions of years beneath the earth's surface. We source both, and we're happy to walk you through the considerations for each.
Can I have my loose diamond set into a ring or piece of jewellery?
Of course. Once you've chosen your stone, we can design and handcraft a piece for you in our Melbourne studio. Whether you're working from one of our signature designs or creating something fully bespoke, we'll guide you through every detail. You're also welcome to take the diamond and work with your own jeweller if you prefer.
Do you only source lab grown diamonds?
No. While our online pricing reflects lab grown diamonds, we source natural GIA-certified diamonds on request as well. We work with trusted, ethical suppliers for both, and we'll help you choose the option that aligns with your values and your budget.
How much does diamond sourcing cost?
There's no fee for our sourcing service. You're only paying for the diamond itself and, if applicable, the design and craftsmanship of your finished piece. We'll be transparent about pricing from the start.
Can I see the diamond before I commit?
We provide HD video and detailed imagery of every stone we present, along with the full grading certificate. If you're based in Melbourne and would like to view a stone in person, we can arrange that where possible.
